John Quincy Adams was the Sixth President of the USA and a valuable part of US society as he fought to diminish circumscription of civil liberties. Of the many things Mr./ Adams did during his lifetime, perhaps some of the most respected and strong things that left a legacy were his fight to obtain the US the Southeast region of America and President the all powerful Monroe Doctrine. His work as Secretary of State was perhaps the most influential, considering he bought and fought hard for the US lands the make up close to 15% of our country today. As a worthy part of United States history, John Quincy Adams was a brilliant asset to the nation as a whole.
